My Soil

O Mortal man,pause for a moment,
Why run helter skelter for riches?
All our treasures lie in our soil,
Toil in it and reep gold.

The world tempts you with gold,
But fetches you nothing.
Land lies awaiting you,
To unravel all her secrets.

Nowhere else will I find
As welcomed as in my land.
Her scent fills my heart with joy,
She hugs me as my mother.

Her abundance never ceases,
Her wonders never vanishes.
She taught me the rhythm of life,
Inspired me to love and share.

I could ask her for no more,
She blessed me with all I need.
I would call her nothing else
But" the epitome of unconditional love".
