My Shining Star

I wrote you a letter And it sounded something like this. I wrote it with care Because I know how much I will miss your kiss. Tears may fall like the dew drops in the morning But it’s your smile that I ask you keep- Don’t give way to mourning. Don’t fear for where I am For I am living a dream: Allowing you to be the true Angel you are; And no matter what, you’ll always be My shining star That I look up to for hope.
