My Mother's Son
I am my mothers son,so she always say
As i gasp my first air in her arms she held me
Like priceless yet valuable item never to lose me
My first teacher ''say mama'' she taught me
To her i was and i am flawless
Try hurting me and you will know she ain't clawless
For her love i got unconditional
With each day plus one in additional
Held me tight when i became emotional
Those moments with her time stood still motionless
To her giving i never got less
But more and more
Isn't my mom the best
Because of me she never settled for less
Strong black woman she fought without rest
And if life was ever a test,am the one she got distinctions
Her smile when she stares at me shows no restriction
What she does in one word dedication
Never to show desiccation
That to my old man i come first
I have her heart never to show her hurt
True to those words she can put them in billboard charts
Mama to me you are important than H2O
For you make impossible possible
Our house you always made it home
Tattooed your name in my heart never to be alone
Cause the word courage, you told me to be bold
Make productive of everything that i hold
Yes greatness is the work of your hands that's what you mold
