My Loving Heart
My Love, I cannot bear that we must part.
To find our fortune, you will go away.
With you forever goes my loving heart.
And when the sun comes up at daylight's start,
I'll wait until the moonlight takes the day.
My Love, I cannot bear that we must part.
We each have felt the prick of Cupid's dart.
Feel it we will again this Valentine's Day.
With you forever goes my loving heart.
My Valentine so true, I know thou art
But fear temptation may tempt you to stray.
My Love, I cannot bear that we must part.
A love that can't be found in any mart,
Was handed freely to us on our way.
With you forever goes my loving heart.
Love with this valentine I now impart,
And that you come home soon, I humbly pray.
My love I cannot bear that we must part.
With you forever goes my loving heart.
