My Greatest Fear
My greatest fear would be
to lose you my dear.
So intertwined are we,
I cannot see
a life without thee.
Bonded were we before
you were even born.
I remember that morn.
Your little eyes half open.
Your mouth seeking my breast.
As you lay on my chest.
My heart filled with love.
Heavenly child from above.
Deep connections were made
Emotional bond so strong.
I'm thrilled you came along.
To give me strength to carry on.
The meaning of unconditional love
You revealed to me my sweet.
So grateful that we should meet.
My greatest fear would be
to lose you my dear.
So intertwined are we
I cannot see
a life without thee.
