My Daughter Was Born

On the unforgettable morning of May second When the dawn was peeping Through the shadows of dark Came a shrill cry From the quiet tense corridors Bringing them to life Tears and laughs and shouts Piercing the still atmosphere Feet came running as if flying To tell me of the Ray of joy entering my world My daughter was born They gave me the tiny bundle To hold her in my arms She was so soft, so delicate ,so white Slowly opening her eyes As if clouds were parting To let the sun rays come through She gave me a smile My world turned bright Then closed her eyes Went off to sleep Peaceful in my arms My daughter was born.

It was with warmth and a smile that I notice the date (May 2) when your sweet daughter was born. My own first born (son) was born on May 2 also......and my sweet precious grandson also was born on that magic date!! Indeed a happy day in May for both you and I !!! Congratulations Tahera !! Love, Carrie

wow, it sounds like you did adoption then? HOw awesome for you, the way you describe this momentous occasion. LUv, Andrea ps. I just got to thinking, I am picturing you were a woman because I was thinking Tahera was a female name. But if it is a masculine name, then I got this all wrong and you would be a father recieving his daughter after your wife gave birth? I just read what Dr. Ram said, I agree. MY daughter has been so precious to me (compared to my son!) LUv, Andrea

I always remember May second as the day when my daughter gave birth to her eldest son i.e. my first grandchild. Tahera. I am happy you have the daughter, I love a daughter more than a son.
