My Best Friend

I thank the good Lord above For sending you to me. My life became greatly enriched As we became a family. Words can not describe The beauty of who you are, You touched all of our lives Like a brightly shining star. An awesome person like you Could never be replaced, May God help us cope With the emptiness we face. Rest in peace my sister, I will forever cherish you. Knowing you're in your Father's arms Is what helps to get me through. As we goodbye to you here on earth, Your spirit and presence will never be gone. Your love and joy has filled our hearts, And that is how we will carry on. Goodbye for now my Lisa, My sister, my very best friend. You will live in my heart forever, Until we finally meet again.
