My Ashes

My Ashes

God is so near who I really do revere;
I thank Him for my home I have here
In Carolina where things always are
Like a colorful rainbow and shiny star.

Some of the things that I love the most
Are my lovely and quite majestic coast
And bright sun which each day does rise
Behind Carolina beautiful and blue skies.

Here in my home, I never will be lonely,
Living with my precious one and only;
Did encourage me to move here one day
To where y'all is what they always say.

Live close to Lockwood Folly near seventeen
Which to me is always such a pretty scene;
Flowing smoothly with much style and grace;
One day into it, my ashes a priest will place.
