My Angel

I feel like I just met you The other day, But its hard to control myself When I'm feeling this way. I see you and feel Like leaping with joy, Kind of like a boy on Chritmas Opening a brand new toy. When I see you Smiling at me, My heart fills With ecstacy. I had given up all hope Of, once more, feeling like this. I thought I would never again Be filled with bliss. People always talk About Angels that save them From doing something stupid And causing mayhem. I think it's only fair To tell you of mine: She is a blessing from Above, An Angel divine. This beautiful woman Is one I met just recently, And long for her To agree to be with me. You are my Angel That saves me from Sorrow, And makes me feel anxious To wake up tomorrow; And every night before I sleep, My thoughts always turn to you, And I often wonder If you feel the same about me, too. Im sorry if I sound Too forward with you, But i want you to know That you are my Angel.
