My 77th Birthday
As I close in rapidly on my 77th birthday
I reflect on what's happened in my life
Sometimes filled with joy and fulfillment
At times with heartache and strife
Eternally grateful for each moment I've spent
On this wonderful ride through the years
Couldn't have asked for a more exciting journey
Mixed with laughter and my share of tears
Though I don't own a rich villa in Spain
Wouldn't change things for a million bucks
Surrounded by friends and all my loved ones
I've had more than my share of good luck
So I owe a debt of gratitude to the folks
Whose paths crossed mine through the years
A great big thanks and many good wishes
These are memories I'll always hold dear
