Mud

I roll upon the wet ground Wallowing in the mud Painted in brown Every part of me covered Except two blue eyes Liquified Revitalized Laughing Adult child Connected to my wild I throw the mud in the air I am here no longer there I'm dancing In my underwear I don't care What others think I allow my pores to drink Into the Earth I sink As I emerge I am reborn Calming of Internal storm You look at me What do you see Am I out of my mind Have I come unglued Do I confuse you Come here with me I feel so free Take my hand Embrace this man Come wallow Dance Play with me Feel what it is To be free Connected to the Earth Let me witness Your rebirth

I did this once I fell down in a pool of mud...I dragged my friends into that pool...My boy friend said that I looked like A chocolate monster....I always feel connected with your words as they take me to the past..:) cheers !

Love it! I am always barefoot, unless am required to wear shoes. I love splashing in puddles and squishing in mud.

Oh Yeah... just letting go is so perfectly depicted in this poem. Reminds me of my childhood.. We actually made and ate 'mud cakes', earthworms and all !!

This is my mud wrestling is such a rush! You laced the meaning within & in between the lines very strongly. Embrace the incipience.
