Mount Cannibal Rainbow

Sunbeams drench upon my back,
Blue sky behind is full,
Rain cloud above a rainbow,
Arched across Mount Cannibal.

Sun shower filters through the gums,
Drips to the under story,
Precipitation from the gods,
On petals bring much glory.

White blooms cannot be whiter,
No black has been discovered,
'Tis hues of reds and blues with gold,
So strongly are uncovered.

Trigger plants of palest pink,
Rage to cerise so bold,
Apple dumplings always palest cream,
Take on the look of gold.
Chocolate and fringe lily,
Near purple once were blue.
Scarlet runner is more scarlet,
Amid the green they tangle through.

From each drop within the shower,
A rainbows brush begins to sway.
Intensifies upon each flower…
That's why the rainbow fades away.
