Thank You Mom for Your love, Your patience and Your wisdom. Mother’s Day is a time to reflect On Your life that’s been a beacon. Thank You for your unselfishness And forgiveness along the way. Thank You for your faith and prayer— Evil’s influence to allay. It’s not easy to be a Mother, But how would I ever know, Until I have my own little ones, And experience the winds that blow. There’s so much we take for granted, That’s just the way life goes, Until we know what’s involved In life’s many joys and woes. I thank God for Mother’s Day— A time to show my appreciation For all your sacrifices And life of unselfish devotion.
