Morning-Girl On the Horizon
I remember when you
Were the girl on the horizon,
Though I always had eyes on you
With a love rainbow wide,
Coloured with light of lonely hours,
Smiling through warm summer showers.
Now I smile to see you
Are the girl on the golden shore
And I can see through your eyes
With a love ocean deep,
Reflecting a soft sapphire blue
Of a summer sky smiling on you.
