Morning Fog Leaning Sunlight
__________________________________________________
Morning sunlight births a perfect day
Crying down the hall.. our baby wakes..
Fog slowly fades to a pristine picture
Mt. Hood stands in silhouette
The smell of breakfast rises
Leaning upon the sill, I gaze through the picture book of hope
My mind invites colored prisms and the dainty flowers
I watch our Golden Labrador leap down the grassy slope
Reminiscing upon our dreams, I pray to the infinite powers
sunlight slowly climbs
soft pastel pink folds glisten
stealth honey bees race
as I climb the old ladder
to cradle a cherry bloom
