Morning
Awake to a new day here,
Arise to greet dawn's sweet cheer.
The birds are singing sweetly,
The world awaits your study.
Arise to moments of joy,
Awake to pursuits and ploys.
Feel song and rhyme of music,
Feel thoughts find art most mystic.
Awake to sensuous feelings,
Arise to beauty fleeting.
The waves of hopes and dreams surge,
The ways of work and form urge.
Arise to your sure calling,
Awake to happy endings.
Touch a world that waits for zest,
Touch attends your sanguine quest.
Awake to a life you dream,
Arise to your poetic theme.
Now go with grace that fulfills,
Now style the day with goodwill.
