Moonlight On the Countryside

From deep beyond the canyon rim, Appearing at first night; The moon appears upon a whim And relays its borrowed light. Then rising there above the knoll, Through wisps of misty white; The moonlight falls as flakes of snow Upon the countryside. ~M

Mel...your work astounds. Beautiful imagery! Such a beautiful description of nature and its charm. I'm a lover of the non and stars. Your last poem of the Rose is so deep and replete with meaning. The truth therein mesmerizes. You are very talented. I haven't visited of late as I've been unwell. My heart is heavy.... my words dry. Thanks for the visit to my work today. It brought me joy...

I know what a heavy heart feels like, it sucks. I'm sorry to hear that you are so afflicted, but I hope it's a passing thing. Meanwhile, if my poems or comments can bring you any peace--any joy, then I have won at least a small victory, and I shall bravely carry on. Love and comforting hugs ~M
