Moondance
I was alone in my room,
Heard someone tap on my
window,
Hey Jack quickly let's go my
friend said,
I must be daft because I left
with her.
Holding hands we arrived at
the beach,
Waves catching our feet as we
reach,
A cloud was blocking our
sight,
And when it passed,we were
awed.
The pull by the moon was
magnetic,
It's cool aura washing down
my face.
I smile like i never done
before,
Without my sight I could feel
it's beautiful.
We both splash into the
waters,
A faint voice coming from
behind us ,
A tug and hug from her and
then she was gone,
Just as my mum rush to my
side and hugged.
Honey why did You come here
all by yourself?
You could have been swept
away by the tide.
Did she not see that I was
not alone?
A thousand questions played
my mind as we walk back
home .
