Moon Madness
Moon Madness
“April 1, 2008 -- Justice Marshall McComb, 82, did not contest his wife’s petition
to be named conservator of his estate after she told the court her husband
is ‘obsessed with the moon. He gets quite excited about it . . . He enjoys it, but
it’s not a normal enjoyment of the moon.’ ”
And so it seems mortal men,
from their spring of time,
seldom pays homage to me
as my night light over earth shines.
Mad, they call all which love me,
but the truth be known and yet
my midnight glow is all the gold
that Marshall McComb will get.
Because he loved me, his jealous wife,
has taken all the rest.
