Moon
My window view delights
A full moon claims my sight
This luna grace spreads balm
A light-hearted sure calm
Moonbeams stream aura bright
My mind drifts in sure flight
The city sleeps most deep
Wee hours hurl restive sleep
Darkness shades the skyline
Wide awake I sip wine
There are strange moments here
Lost in my musing spheres
Moon keeps me company
As I frame my fancy
Words for another write
Forfeit those I recite
To be crazy like this
Is a prelude to bliss
