Moment With God
Throughout the sands of time,
You have been known to communicate
to us through omens,
nature being Your most favorite tool.
I have some papers;
for each question, there is a paper. If
it burns, I'll know it's a "Yes". If it doesn't,
I'll know it's a "No".
Please God, answer my wishes....
(A silent, continous pause for a while)
Are there other beings in the universe,
besides us humans?
(The first paper burns)
Do they know we exist?
(The second paper burns)
Do they worship You?
(The third paper burns)
Are they highly intelligent?
(The fourth paper burns)
Have they built temples for You?
(The fifth paper doesnt burn)
God, I'm confused. How can any
sentient being worship you without
a temple?! My ancestors prayed to You
in well-built shrines.....
God, I know this is not part of the questions;
I'm hungry in curiosity....how do they worship you?
(There was deep silence, which was dyed in serenity.
I had found my answer.....)
