Mom I Love You

Although you may have not been there at birth, You’ve been with me through the so very long walk, You’ve went through the same amount of hurt, You were the one, who every day fought, For what you believed I needed, You had been the one, who stood in the gap, The one who always had my back, And when I was young you never sat back, You made sure all my needs were met, Now that I am older, We go at it, When others might say I already told her, He was no good, But you ignored them only looking at the good, I may not show how much I care, How much I need you, But even now in my life I can only think, Where would I be now if it wasn’t for you, And every time I may argue later on my heart sinks, Not wishing to argue, only wishing to speak, But now I say from the bottom of my heart, I love you very much, And I hope we never part,
