Missing You
It’s been 15 years of silence,
But your love still reigns true.
Not a single day has gone by,
That we never think of you.
We miss you on the birthdays,
Even more at Christmas time.
Though you left us in a hurry,
Your departure was divine.
When you left us that morning,
A piece of me left with you.
But I’ll regain my happiness,
When I’m next to you.
Though the memories are fading,
One thing will never fade.
And that’s the love you gave to us,
In the little things you made.
We love you and we miss you,
For our grief’s not told in tears.
We’ve kept all the things you gave,
As precious souvenirs.
And in the years to follow,
I know one thing is true.
That wherever I choose to go,
I’ll be missing you.
