In the vast cyber desert Where people thirst for truth I stumbled on a website Called the Poetry Soup Welcome to the Poetry Soup The cyber voices said Was it an oasis? Or was it all in my head So I tapped on the keyboard And i began to write My words were illuminating I was a warrior of light But the desert sun got too hot And my words began to burn So I tapped 'escape' on the keyboard But the site would always return So I asked the cyber captain To program my release He just said "That's not what we believe We are only programmed to receive You can logout any time you please But you can never leave!" ---- Inspired by the song Hotel California by the Eagles And by Becca's Blog
