The quiet of the late afternoon sun Is all that I wanted to hear. The rays casting shadows in the room Is all that I wanted to see. Watching the daylight move around the walls Eased the tension and stress in me. A few moments to gather my thoughts Time, so precious, so dear. Comfortably sitting here Relaxation drains me of life's fears Just a few minutes of time for me To sit in peace watching nature perform Makes me feel good and smile for the beauty of life. Recharges my mind to face more.
