Mindfield
I tried to cross the lawn this morning
From my house, out to the street
In hopes that I could find a place
Where I could get a bite to eat
Boy, this grass grew fast and tall
It looks like it could reach the sky
And the droppings from the dog next door
Got to be a mile high
Another soggy wet Newspaper
Just laying in my way
I wish the kid would learn to throw
And reach the porch, some day
Across the lawn I stagger
'Till I reach my favorite plant
I guess it's just another day
In the life of this here, Ant
