Merry Christmas

M any little children wait for santa claus tonight. E ven one's who are all grown up and their pants a little tight. R eliving times when they were young. R emembering Jesus loves me that they sung. Y es Jesus loves Me. C hristmas comes for one and all. H e was brought to us in a livery stall. R elieving us from all our sin. I n every heart he lives akin. S ending all his endless love. T o help us know he's up above. M aking sure we know we're not alone. A lmighty and so kind, his tone. S ending glad tidings so all will have known. For the acrostic contest.

Here I am again back to this Xmas poem. A fitting one for the season today. thanks for reading Lola. One girl thought i was writing about Barry Manilow's showgirl Lola. haha. You know, when I was young, I thought the song could be interpreted two ways. Lola could be a boy but not necessarily. I guess that is not what Youtube is saying!! Oh well, I still like to think it could just be a woman with a low voice!!

Now it is over and you probably could write one to bring in the new year. Perhaps give us some hope in all the horrible things that are happening. Take care Robert, hope all is well with you!

A good entry, Robert. I got a kick out of the second line, the pants a little tight! I enjoyed the rhyme you made for your comment on my last poem. Thanks, Andrea
