Meant To Be

I've always wanted a bundle of joy, Someone to love, a girl or a boy, Holding her near, kissing her hand, Helping her to understand, That I was her mother, the one that she loved The one whom thought she came from above. Seeing her first crawl, then walk, then run, Watching her grow would be so much fun. Giving her kind words and someone to trust, Would not be a question, but a must. Watching and helping her through the years, Through laughing and hugging, Through sadness and tears, To be there for her as I will always be, I'm glad you’re my daughter, You were meant to be.
