MEANING WHAT? Hear now pilgrim I’ll float one out on the air In soothing or passionate tones A word Just any energy laden word It comes back to look at you This word with eyes And it scans each attendant eye Two with countless descendant possibilities looking at each other Word in between Above is thought Oh how the wheels turn now! Two or more looking at each other Thinking On my God thinking! The descendant possibilities run wild The blood lines… The nerves… This life-locked word With ten thousand meanings Pardon While I go totally ape Dave Austin

gosh, Daver, your poem is so unique. I kind of get it, but you really make a lot out of this word. I am with Mystic. What word would cause you to go totally ape? hahaha

Probably a verb. A name will do though. After last night's Republican debate, how about Hillary or Obama. Abortion, gay are loaded. Love, Old on the fence, daver

so Daver, are you wearing your old grey sweater? I miss mine. It is actually gone now. Finally had to throw it out it got so worn!! Wish I'd bought it in all the other colors.
