Me and My Wire
Me and My Wire
When whole life is on the wire,
Lord, don't let my life expire;
Every time when on wire kneel
Closer to God I always feel.
Hats had been flapping in the breeze
And behind me there were no trees;
Only thing left was wire and me;
By God, was I beckoned to be?
To reach an end there must be a start;
Never should have a change of heart;
Thank you God in who I do trust;
Even on wire when there was dust.
