Maybe One Day
Maybe one day
Oh, how mighty you think you are.
Thinking you could stop a shooting star.
I ask, what did she ever do to you?
Loved ones hearts left broken in two.
Oh, how mighty you think you are.
You think you can destroy her from afar.
Let me tell you, the wounded are strong.
To overcome something that is so very wrong.
Let me tell you, hearts find a way to heal.
Maybe, you should stop denying what is real.
The disguise you wear doesn’t work anymore.
Your malicious ways waning like never before.
It is not us who have to face ruins of your ways.
We are building a castle to be safe, these days.
You don’t want to think about crossing the moat.
The sin will sink you fast, while others float
Away, away on a positive note.
Maybe one day, you will stop in a sleek moment.
When you will look at the stars, decide to repent.
Maybe you will wonder about dungeons, gallows too.
Maybe one day, you will choose a better place for you.
