May Be That Is How Birds Learned To Fly

Down in the world of treachery Survival is for the strongest side Weakest have no place in its tents For they cannot dance for noble songs In that state of despair Alone and powerless among the elite Searching for place to plant hope They began to jump round and round the field Seeing the clouds rolling in peace Jumping gave birth to new sense of looking ahead Strengthen the will to explore other avenues To avoid persecution of the strong world In the moment of silence, aching for freedom- -They pulled away from the rope- -Hold on to the air being free And fly up to sky where the strongest could not Finding site to go to avoid pain In midst of gloominess There comes a time, to sing 'eureka' May be that is how birds learned to fly Spending time in higher space, to Avoid chains in the cruel world And embellish their lives with happiness
