mary dances

i often wondered about the gathering
the flowers the dove as the angel sing

the beauty the silk and soft lace
the mona lisa smile on mary's face

while looking down from heaven above
lying next to the one she love

she drinks wine from the cup of truth
not like jezebel sweet martha or even ruth

her dance is silent and glorious to see
for there's to trickery or lies at her knee

she kneels to the king as her heart do sing
the graceful movement so sure an yet pure

she moves to each side as my soul's in a trance
watching me woman perform the mary dance

rejoice in me for i am hoarse you see
for there's no trickery or lies at her knee

my words flow forevermore for god not vain
for i shall only be silent when truth is pain

for now i will love with my breath in chance
to make us all happy as i do the mary dance
for love the mother of women bless thy fruit
