Mark
I met a really big tree
Who lives in a beautiful park
He seemed to look back at me
With a shape of a face on his bark
All of the other scenery
Was really pretty nice too
But there was such tranquility
With his most peaceful view
I only saw him from my car
On a mild December day
His tree top stretched so far
It was hard to look away
He had a bit of character
Standing sturdy, tall and tame
One I’ll always remember
So he should have a special name
I thought about it a lot
And decided to name him Mark
Because he marks the spot
Of a great time I had in the park
