Color Your World Contest: Mallory

A royal velvet
A lilac flower
Colorful power
Amethyst carat
Favorite pallet

She loves it more
Deep meaningful
Girl beautiful
Streaked in her hair

Artist wild
Brush in hand
Dip it in

It is not easy to write a good diminished hexaverse poem, but it appears you have turned the trick here. Good write.

I really liked how you depict Mallory here relating her with a color and painting (lucky girl to have this poem for her) -- you've worked this form really well-- that last line gives this just the right touch of whimsy, :)

I love these kinds of forms. Great final line for that whirl of most beautiful hue!
