Magical Innocence

When a child comes into the world There is a magical innocence that becomes unfurled An innocence that dares to be captivating And a magic in their eyes that is fascinating So go ahead and gaze upon their eyes And tell me you don't see the magic that you spy Because what you see is something so special That you don't have the time to see it all But if you did have the time You could see that there's no reason or rhyme In what you see that is so magical It is in the way they play It is in what they say It is in the way they laugh And it is in what they have that is so little of time and a half
