Lust, Or a New Beginning
As rain falls hard on the ground
I think of you in your 90s flannel shirt
and tight pants
and your barefeet with painted nails
standing in the rain.
I think of your beautiful face
that looks like summer
and your body shaped like winter.
The rain drips off of your body
like a waterfall meant for heaven.
You are an angel to me
gifted with beauty.
I can see heaven in your eyes.
I love the way you act, your free will,
and love for life.
I want you to love me, girl
and be mine.
Your hair, long and dark
it flows like rich homemade wine.
I also love your southern way of life.
I will never hurt you.
