Curtis, I love all of these ingredients and this must be a delicious feast! I've seen some other entries describing newslapers on the table and, being raised in NJ, am wondering what they're for. Still, this is certainly a true low country boil. Congratulations on your success in Sara's contest. Love, Carolyn

Thanks, Carolyn! I'm actually from Georgia, but my daughter lives in Charleston, SC. We did a low country boil there one evening and, WOW!! As for the newspapers, they simply soak up the juices and make for easy cleanup afterwards.

You are absolutely right, Robert. People out walking or jogging often stop by just to see what's going on. Of course, they are always welcome to stay. Thanks for the congrats!

Thanks, Sara. Your contest was one of those that piqued my interest just because of the topic. If you ever have an opportunity to do a "boil" and use these same ingredients, you won't be disappointed.

P.S. Sweetheart -- How sad I am that you are leaving us. I've told you before what an inspiration you have been to me. I hate fire ants too, as well as snakes. And, if they don't run from me, I run from them.
