Loving Through the Miles

Having loved my first wife from afar Jean and I lived many miles apart so we penned letters to each other every week we wrote from the heart For a year this carried on before deciding on a date then we grew to love each other before entering the marriage state You learn so much about each other in these letters before you meet truly knowing inside the person allowing them to sweep you off your feet As the famous saying aptly tells absence makes the heart grow fonder every weekend couldn't come quick enough for Jean and I our bond grew stronger So long distance love can work when the two are a real match thinking of nobody else near or far truly loving your one fond catch (Just to explain Jean and I were married for less than a year before Jean passed away into Her Lord's presence in 1982, I've now been married to Christine now 25 years.)
