Lovely Portals of the Night

That orbed maiden comes out With the radiant darkness The innumerable stars Hymn written in light. The night walking down the sky With the white fire laden moon More richly hued than the day Makes it more alive. Lovely portals of the night When the stars come out to watch Day die giving glimpses of Immortality. Snow like icicles pointing down Nature’s mysteries infinite Centre all over no circumference Do we deserve to know? Would not like to wish “Good Morn” Or wouldn’t like to wish “Goodbye” Or to drench and drain this beauty” No! Not at least me.
