Patches The Cat

Constance, Congratulations. and finally just now seeing what you wrote in your reply to me when I was here before. The cat from my childhood, which stayed in the family home when I went to college, lived to age TWENTY THREE. Can you believe it? My mom said that she simply stepped into her litter box one day and made a croaking nose and she died. I wrote an etheree about it: the day Priscilla Croaked. Or something like that!

Andrea, thanks for the congratulations, oh that was so sad about Priscilla, probably a heart attack, I have an old cat who just turned 19, she is okay but has arthritis, and of course I have the young one, who walks around purring, she is so happy ~~

Yes, Broken Wings, their time comes too quickly even after eighteen years. (My last cat was nineteen years old when he passed.) Very heartfelt for sure, and congrats on your placement in Sara's contest. Hugs, Sandra

Sandra, thanks for the congrats and hugs, yes, the cost of loving our pets is grieving them and we do that to ourselves over and over, well at least I do, now I have two cats, one is on my lap now purring happiness ~

oh , Constance, I wanted to do one like this too. I must think how to do it differently from you, or maybe focus on something else completely. Love this. MY cat was 18 when she passed away too.
