love asked immortal love which of us is better? immortal love said to love i'm sure that i'm much better love said to immortal love i have many lovers immortal love said to love i have one and no other love said to immortal love soon i think i'll die immortal love said to love your love is just a disguise love said to immortal love will i ever be like you immortal love said to love that all depends on you

Beautifully expressed, John, and truly one of your finest poems! I like to think that the love we feel for others here on Earth can be immortal as you indicate in your last verse. Love the reaches beyond the transition from physical to spiritual life may be rare, but I do think it can happen. Your love for your family certainly reaches the "immortal" category, don't you agree?
