Love Above the Elements

I know love with you... The sea in violent wave will not submerge our hearts, The fires of fast fury cannot finish the poetry of our tender touch, The gales that gust grimly will not wear away the warmth of our eyes, The stubborn earth in it's shifts shall not quake and crumble the structure of our love's monument... Dedicated to my Love Muse...the future knows our pulse... J.A.B.

I suppose wouldn't know this. Never having been in a relationship I'm not properly experienced. I like the way you describe it... Love should be the foundation where Lust is built upon. With our topsy-turvy world we live in, it's very often backwards. People not caring for one another but "sticking it out" for wrong reasons i.e., cheap thrills.

Lust nourishes love, although it is finding someone who promotes self discovery which teaches us the meaning of our hearts and hence keeps us inspired to love. Alliteration makes a beautiful music of concept, glad you appreciate that Timothy.
