Lonely Blythe

Her brain surrounded, mind altering chemicals, made her life miserable. memories crowded, she was my identical, only she got physical. Take no more pills please... Put that drink in your hand down! Stimulated confusion. Don't try to appease, if you're not happy then frown, hiding contempt illusions. Gratification, you instantly found your high, drunk and falling down your stairs. Anticipation, kept waiting for you to fly, pretending your debonair. Incomplete madness, you studied sobriety, such wasted talented life. Concrete sadness, if only one memory, my sweet sister, lonely blythe. Written By: Laura Loo Date Written: February 22, 2016

It is sad to see one close to us ruin their life and soil the lives of those around them with addiction..I enjoyed reading this one..I hope that she was able to change if this one is written about your sister and not just about the topic..Thanks for the honor of placing in your contest..Sara
