Londa - Another Mother
Sometime ago I met you;
Now I am so glad I did.
I know you have your own children,
But you also treated me like your kid.
I cannot call you stepmother,
Sounds like I am stepping on or over you.
And when it comes to standing up for me;
You always came through.
You are such a special lady,
A woman with a good heart.
I was a stranger when you first met me,
But you loved me from the start.
My mother even loves you;
She says you are the right girl.
To love my dad and help him out;
And straighten up his world.
I know that God is watching;
Everything that we do.
So I pray that God will bless you and the girls,
And keep our love ever true.
Happy Mother's Day
