Living In Chaos

From The dawn to dusk And on the hot sands of time I live in chaos Not of my making May be of God’s design In this world of more tears and less smiles Jews,Muslims and Gentiles And all the sons and daughters of Adam and eve I have started to believe Happiness and satisfaction Does not lie in gold and dollars But,in the innocent smile of a poor boy Who laughs it out despite his torn clothes? And sleeps on the floor, to rise another day And enter into the world full of chaos To grow into a man of destiny

: ) I'm smiling because you stated "...I've started to believe that happiness and satisfaction does not lie in gold and dollars. ..." Those are words of wisdom. Though I don't believe that this chaotic world is by God's design. Still I enjoyed reading this Waqar. There is much joy in the simple things in life that are free...a little boy's carefree laughter, as you said..or an oasis in the midst of a vast desert! Beautiful write. Annalise
