Listen
To heed these words that leaves their mouths
Whether they speak mild or shout aloud
To accept your fate from a “lesser mind”
And agree to what their hearts outlined
To grace their humble mouths with proud ears
And yield to all their many fears
To face the crowd of your pupil’s age
Yet learn from what reads in their page
And now stepped down from wisdom’s horse
Still watch the young ones climb on top
Now unfound in new found humility
Until you gain your life and sanity
You wonder and walk it’s wilderness
For a whiff of time or endlessness
And after all you now see clearly
This covered wisdom now held dearly
Just when the storm is withered
Where unto blessedness you’ve entered
For with eyes as full as the thinker’s head
You should lay rest on your humble head
