Life's Quest
Sadly we have only one life to live
We must try our absolute best
To be as loving as we possibly can be
To make it our lifelong quest
People judge us by what they see
The image that we project
Qualities we show are all important
If wishing for mutual respect
What we give out is what we get back
Life's plan is no great mystery
Been the same since time immemorial
Through all of the world's history
So put aside all those petty rivalries
To live a life simple and free
Doesn't require any great knowledge
Sweet compassion is still the key
Sadly we have only one life to live
We must try our absolute best
To be as loving as we can possibly be
To make it our lifelong quest
