Your fingertips reach The crowd gasps when you touch me Midas touch captive A grand spectacle Hands caress each golden curve You smile in pleasure I stand on display A testament to power Lifeless in your gold Eileen Sorry I haven't been active lately. I went on a lovely trip with my husband. Back to reality has me a little down and have not been up to writing. Will try to catch up soon. Hugs

No idea what inspired this. It originally started as a poem about someone revealing his true colors and the ensuing disappointment. My muse had other plans. Hugs
