Life Was Just To Play
When I was young and wanted to get away
On the muddy fields I walked every single day
Because was not fun for me at home long to stay
Since to my older siblings, usually, I fell prey
Running and jumping and playing with clay
Was much of a delight and made me so gay
True then was that the only thing I had to pray
Days to be clear and none of them to be gray
Thus patiently waited the coming of month May
For it was so wonderful, didn’t wish it to delay
Now that I am very old and ready to decay
Because my interior organs are all in disarray
Difficult is for me to walk and impossible is to play
But if I decide to do so, I will be ...on my way!*
